Game changer! Pre & Post-Surgery Solutions
Pre and Post Surgery Therapies are recommended to maximise the final results of cosmetic surgical procedures and to minimise the bruising, swelling and scarring effects. Pre and Post Surgery Therapies increase the probabilities of a nicer and more natural outcome,. therefore a more rapid return to a normal life style.
Help the body to heal faster. Increase oxygen supply to the cells. Improve blood circulation and lymph flow rate. Detoxify and relax tensed muscles. Reduce inflammation, break up fluids and the formation of fibrosis. Enhance the recovery of injured soft tissue.
Soft tissue refers to tissues that connect, support or surround other structures and organs of the body or other body parts. Soft tissue includes muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, nerves, fibrous tissues. Soft tissue protect organs, move fluids such as blood and lymph from one part of the body to another.
Importance of Lymph Flow Stimulation
Science now shows that certain stimulations on the body induce an increase in lymph flow. After a cosmetic surgery these manipulations can result in the clearing of lymph congestion (lymphedema), reducing swelling and bruising, fibrosis and promote overall wellness.
Lymphedema
Lymphedema is a condition of localised fluid retention and tissue swelling. Excessive amounts of protein rich fluid accumulated in one or more regions of the body. This is due to a compromised lymphatic system. Consequently, tissues with Lymphedema
may be at risk of infection. If this oedema is left stagnant it can lead to fibrosis. This is why post operative care within the first 6 to 8 weeks is extremely important.
Recommended to start within 2 to 7 days after the procedure. This care involves professional manual or equipment assisted manipulations twice to 5 times a week. Daily stimulation of the lymph system have gentle walking and the use of the compression garments at all times.
Benefit of pre & post- surgery therapy

Accelerates tissue regeneration after cosmetic surgery
Reduces numbness, swelling, sensitivity and bruising
Decreases oedema, fluid retention, puffiness
Improves microcirculation-lymphatic system
Stimulates and repairs collagen
Diminishes lumpiness and pain
Promotes the release of toxins
Improves Blood Circulation
Speeds healing of injuries
Increases elasticity
Pre-Surgery Treatment Benefits – Liposuction or Facelift
Smooth the skin surface
Accelerate skin cell turnover.
Faster healing and recovering
Less discomfort after procedure
Relaxes tensed or stiff muscles prior to liposuction
Diminishes the severity of oedema, pain and spasms
Prepares tissue for the surgery providing more elasticity
Detoxifies the tissue and body and stimulates cell performance
Stimulates the immune system and promotes better response to the procedure
Speed up healing by activating cell regeneration through drainage as well as and oxygenation
Post-Surgery Treatment Benefits
Stimulates immune system
Optimises the scarring process
Alleviates post-surgical oedema
Promotes skin regeneration and wound healing
Applicable, on must cases, a few days after the procedure
Help to prevent the formation of hypertrophic or keloid scarring

Pre and Post therapies
Pre-Facelift
Recommended a 4 sessions Package one month before procedure.
Package – 4 sessions
- Lactic Peel x 2
- Fruit enzyme peel x 1
- RF (radio frequency) x 1
Post-Facelift
Recommended 6-8 sessions 3-4 weeks after procedure.
Pre-Liposuction
Recommended 6 – 10 sessions prior to the surgery once or twice per week.
Post-Liposuction
Recommended 3-5 sessions per week starting on first post surgery week.
Sessions will include any of the following therapies, depending on the patient condition:
Ultrasound
30 min – Reduces swelling, relieves pain and promote safe healing and rapid recovery with minimal downtime after liposuction or cosmetic surgery. Effective for accelerating and enhancing the recovery of soft tissue injuries.
TriActive – Cold laser
30 – 45 min – Suction massage device with six diode lasers promotes toxins elimination and oedema. Stimulates the formation of a new network of lymphatic and venous circulation. Firms, soothes and tightens the skin and muscles TriActive is an
outstanding therapy during the pre-op and post-op phases. Prepares the skin for a better response to the surgical trauma, due to the activation of the Arterial-venous and lymphatic microcirculation and the toning effects on the tissue.
Vibratory Massage
30 min- Actives the lymph nodes in a way that cannot be achieved manually without putting pressure on the muscles. Massage device with simultaneous parallel and vertical vibrations for
stimulating underlying tissue, muscles, lymphatic and circulatory systems. Great for pre & post operative, sore muscles, and maintenance of the body contours.
RF (radio frequency)
30 min – Tightens and improves skin’s quality and enhances the final outcome.
Fat Cavitation* for localised fat reduction
30 min – Low frequency ultrasound to reduce localised lumpy fat cells. It breaks down harden tissue. It’s combined with other slimming technics.
The amount of time for these weekly session will depend on the amount of area that has had liposuction. The first session is normally 30 to 60 mins long and all subsequent sessions will be individually tailored.
Lymphatic drainage Pre- liposuction
Lymphatic drainage massage contribute to the circulation and the health lymphatic fluid. The healthier the circulation of lymphatic fluid is, the quicker the tissue can heal after damaged. So having a lymphatic drainage massage a week to a minimum of 4 days before the surgery can help reduce recovery time. It is not advised to have a lymphatic drainage massage closer then 4 to 3 days prior, as this will have too much of a stimulation affect on the circulation and can cause the body to metabolize drugs quicker. lymphatic drainage massage.
